Clubhouse systems
By Clubhouses. For Clubhouses.

What we've built

We believe that Clubhouses should access to the tools and knowledge to serve their communities.  With over 300 Clubhouses in the world, there's no reason for each of us to have to "figure it out" alone--because we are not alone.

In 2014, we could not find an accessible system to run our Work-Ordered Day...so we built one.  Our goal is simple: to build systems that work for every Clubhouse in the world, regardless of your Clubhouse's age, size, funding sources, or ability to pay

We've accomplished this and are proud to be able to share with the Clubhouse world tools and techniques that will help your Clubhouse and your members...flourish.

So this is a database?

Flourish is more than a "database"--it's a way of conducting the Work-Ordered Day.  For our Clubhouse, the journey of using Flourish has led to a more vibrant and engaged Clubhouse.  Pre-COVID, our Clubhouse had grown to almost 60 members per day, compared to 25-30 members per day before we started with Flourish a few days ago.  This has been critical in increasing our budget--allowing us to provide more Clubhouse WOD and other non-Clubhouse supports for our members.

We want everyone in the world to have access to those same benefits.

Today, we're supporting over 30 Clubhouses and are working as fast as we can to help the Clubhouses that are on our waiting list.  Everyone gets lots of support, but we're a small team so we can't immediately help everyone that wants to work with us.

Below you can see some of the groups we're working with today.

Who uses Flourish today?

Whether you're new or established, accredited or in-the-process, rural or urban, independent or under an auspice, Flourish can work for you.  Below are many of the Clubhouses that are using versions of Flourish today, or just getting started with the system.  This does not include the Clubhouses that are currently "in the queue".

What Clubhouse leaders are saying about Flourish

"Working with Eric and his team has been extremely rewarding. Their dedication to delivering a quality tailor-made product, troubleshooting issues that arise and providing excellent customer service, in combination with extensive clubhouse knowledge has been invaluable to Progress Place." ---Criss Habal, Progress Place

"Having a database that was built for clubhouses has made a huge difference in being able to track and report on data, outcomes and donors. Over the years we've been extremely satisfied with the support and training we have received." ---Elizabeth Hazlewood, Compass House

"Working with Lauren and San Antonio Clubhouse has been a fluid process. They are receptive to all of our requests, even with our incredibly specific needs and demands. Our members and staff have enjoyed using Flourish because it is easy to use and can be tailored to fit our various Clubhouse needs. One of our members states, "I had no idea we could track all this information!" There is no end to the amount of reports and statistics we can now pull to help with our outcome measurements and tracking." ---Linn Blohm, Thunderbird Clubhouse

"One major deciding factor was cost. Flourish is affordable for any size Clubhouse and it has the capacity to grow with you. It is a set price with no hidden “additional costs”. The other database options had tiered pricing based on membership account size, required monthly subscription, and overall came in at much higher costs over an extended period of time. {...} With Flourish, it is your system. You own it and all of the data in it." ---Erica Horn, California Clubhouse

"The Flourish team has demonstrated an ability to manage multiple sites, understand the unique challenges and opportunities of the Clubhouse culture, and present a roadmap to the essential infrastructure necessary for Clubhouses to participate in to become global best practices." ---Kevin Rice, Fountain House Director of Research Development

"The ability to integrate the data from our former database made the transition seamless. Reports that took us hours to compile now take seconds and having the flexibility to add any data fields made data collection a breeze. The database continues to impress us and because of the infinite possibilities to grow it." ---Tamara Hunter, Putnam Clubhouse

"They have really customized it to Clubhouse, which I do not think an outside software program would be able to do at this level. It is very user friendly and will open up many member jobs.  Lauren has been incredible at helping us customize Flourish to our needs, including making our billing data easier and more efficient than it has been all this time." --Dana Agee, Crossroads CH (OK)

"Clubhouse flourish has allowed us to increase our own understanding and usage of our data. Members and staff alike enjoy the easy to follow user interface, the ability to designed and tailor reporting, and the adaptability of Flourish to meet our exact needs." ---Lauren Baxter, Crossroads Clubhouse (MA)

Frequent Questions

What does this cost?

Recommended monthly contribution

$200 per month
  • There are no other costs (not per user, per record, or anything else)
  • If you can contribute more, great. We'd appreciate it.
  • If you can contribute less, that's OK. We all have to start somewhere.
  • If you have absolutely no funds to contribute, that's fine too (seriously). Reach out.
  • Your contribution helps "pay-it-forward" so we can help smaller groups that don't yet have resources.

What does it look like to move to Flourish?

Step 1) Explore this page

Many of the common questions about Flourish, or about working with us, can be found on this page.   If you still have questions, please check out the next steps.

Step 2) Schedule a demo (optional)

If you'd like to see a demonstration of the software, you can schedule a time by clicking the button at the bottom of this page.  Not all Clubhouses choose to do this, but those that do often have a few people (members and staff) join.  This is a great time to ask questions about what the system can do.

Step 3) Schedule a Q&A session with stakeholders (optional)

Each Clubhouse has a different culture.  Some Clubhouses have stakeholders, such as auspice agency technology departments or organizational leaders, that want to talk to our team to ask their own questions.  This is especially true when groups have existing technology and they want to see how Flourish might help or interact with other systems.

This isn't necessary, but we're happy to meet with anyone that you need us to talk to.  Some Clubhouses/auspices are comfortable with the idea that "other Clubhouses have already reviewed this", and just skip this step.  You can schedule a Q&A session by clicking the button at the bottom of this page.

Step 4) Request your onboarding package (required)

If you think you're ready to get started with Flourish, submit a request by completing the form at the bottom of this page. This will allow us to give you access to the onboarding tool which is how your team will tell us what you need.

Step 5) Complete the onboarding checklist (required)

Once we get you started with the tool, you'll have as much time as you need to complete it.  We won't start building anything until the checklist is complete.  During this process, you'll get a copy of the Business Associate Agreement (BAA) that we'll sign (and that you'll need to sign) to keep us compliant with HIPAA requirements.  You'll also get access to a special folder where you can share existing data with us.

It's important to note, you don't need to "have all the answers" to get started.  Nobody has all the answers.  We highly recommend that you start small by only collecting a few types of information (such as attendance and outreach).  Then, you can start to collect more data as time goes on and your Clubhouse is more comfortable with your data collection approach.

The system will never be "done".  You'll invariably need to collect new info for stakeholders, you'll need new types of reports, you'll have new options you want to add to lists, you'll have new units and tasks, and more.  Your system should change with you over time.  We're here to make that happen.

We highly recommend you determine when you've got "enough" to get started, and then you get started!  This gets you going on the system and moves you ahead in the queue (in front of other Clubhouses). We'll be here to make changes for you as learn more and grow into the system.

Step 6) Building the first version of your system! (required)

Once you've finished your onboarding checklist, we'll begin building.  This includes moving over any/all of your old digital data.  Our team will clean it up (get rid of duplicates, etc), and then map your data to Flourish.  This is important because it means that your old data will be ready for you when you get started.

For many Clubhouses, this means moving lots of funky data from different places into one system for the first time.  It's an exciting moment.

Step 7) Launching your new system (required)

All good things must come to a...beginning!

We say that this is the first version of your system because you'll want changes, and we'll make them.  At first, we'll be doing this a lot.  As time goes on, your Clubhouse will get used to the tool and you'll need fewer and fewer updates.

Step 8) Apply, enhance, and repeat (optional)

Like we said above, we want you to keep-up with your system.

We highly recommend that we work together to keep it up-to-date.

As you use the system, you'll learn about what you need.  We'll build it for you.  We ask that you use the new things we build to make sure they're working properly.  Then, we'll enhance the system again, as necessary.  We can do this for as long as we need to.

What we want to avoid is "analysis paralysis" where Clubhouses get stuck trying to get everything perfect before getting started.  We've never seen this work.  Your best bet is to simply get started.  You'll progress faster and get better results.

Ready to get started?

We're looking forward to working with you.  Our onboarding process is fairly intuitive.  You'll be completing some interactive questionnaires. If you think you're comfortable doing that just schedule a Q&A session and we can talk about the process.
